Home Use Test

Home Use Test (HUT) is a cost effective way to evaluate Client's product to the consumers before moving forward to the product launch.

Feedback from consumers for new product is gathered from Nusaresearch's selected panellists after sending out the samples of the products to members. Feedbacks or comments about the products will be collected through Nusaresearch and managed online surveys.

In order to prevent from being disclosed outside market of the new products' sample, Nusaresearch will manage the whole process with explain regulations to secure and recovering samples as the surveys until finished.

ADVANTAGES OF HUT

1. By combining online survey in Home Use Test (HUT), cost of research can be reduced comparing to the conventional solution, in which respondents are gathered in a hall. Moreover, we are able to collect the real experiences from respondents and simultaneously using the product sample and answering the online feedback sheet.

2. HUT not only helps to collect different evaluations of product sample but also drive reviews that traditional methods like sample usage at hall can hardly collect feedback for consumer products (such as shampoo, detergent, or fabric care...). Respondents are able to use sample daily, manufacturers can collect real experience of consumers toward actual status of the product.

In brief, by using the HUT method, manufacturers can measure the pros and cons of product comparing to other competitive products. Therefore, they can make the decision to improve or launch the product in exact time.

HUT PROCESS

Nusaresearch offers the most comprehensive service from research design to appropriate respondents selection, trial using conducting and report delivery.

1. Participants recruiting

After receiving research brief, our staff will be creating the proposal. We will discuss in parallel with clients to finalize the HUT process and survey questionnaire.

2. Trial conducting

Regarding customized criterias, a preliminary survey will be made for collecting right participants. Clients can shortlist and choose the final participants for HUT. Then, their conditions and participation will be confirm again by direct contact.

3. Data delivery

Due to HUT process, sending product samples to participants will be processed by Nusaresearch's staff. Our staff will control the whole trial schedule from the beginning to ending and survey's responses. Reminding or replacing for non-active respondents also be included in the process.

4. Conducting Preparation

Feedbacks as well as data will be processed and delivered to clients as schedule.

5. Note

Quality and secure is assured as following:
. Participants who did not answer the survey will be urged to answer by reminding via phone or mail.
. As there is a percentage of dropouts, we highly recommend to prepare 5-10% extra respondents. The cost of extra respondents is only half of the main- respondents price.
. Nusaresearch will request respondents agree to sign the security policy when enrolling the trial usage to avoid new product information being leaked out.
. Remaining samples will be fully collected after the trial usage finishes.
